We've had a busy Fall with lots of activities and school events, including dance for Jillian and a play; trumpet and baritone playing and basketball games for Alexander; and lacrosse clinic and cello practices and performances for Savannah. The kids are enjoying their new schools and making new friends.
We had many visitors including David's brother Scott and his family, Tara's parents, a Chinese teacher as part of an exchange program in Savannah's class, our NC friends the Parkers, and even a big brown bear in our yard!
We had a nice Halloween--Jillian was a Candy Corn Witch, Alexander was a zoot-suit jazz trumpeter, and Savannah was her own creation with blue skin and red hair.
Tara is leading both Moms In Prayer groups for Somerset Elementary and Tyee Middle School and has met many amazing moms in other neighboring MIP groups who are becoming good friends. She is volunteering at both schools and getting the lay of the town.
David had a trip to Bangkok for World Vision to meet colleagues from around the world. He and his team are finalizing the first brand TV campaign in many years for World Vision.
The family volunteered Thanksgiving morning, and then joined new friends for dinner. Now, we're getting ready for Christmas, which will be spent in the area. Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that your holiday season is filled with many blessings!
